A life without love

The other day I took a look at a video by someone who’s passionate to make a difference in the world, one person at a time. He had gone from being one of the homeless, to a man with enough heart to reach out and touch people in a situation just like he had found himself in. I saw a man who had risen up to not only help himself, but was also helping others. The gift he offered to them was love and acceptance; acceptance of who they were, and love to know that they weren’t alone, that they had worth and that their suffering did not define them or their future. It reminded me that WE ARE NOT THE SUM OF OUR PAST MISTAKES. Life is a gift not only worth living, but worth sharing. To use the words of Leonardo da Vinci: a life without love is no life at all. Let’s think on that..
